Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Shire of Moora in 2011 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (355 people or 28.3%)
  • Education and Training (116 people or 9.3%)
  • Retail Trade (111 people or 8.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 582 people in total or 46.4% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Regional WA employed 8.9% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 7.6% in Education and Training; and 9.2% in Retail Trade.
