Mortgage repayments are directly related to house prices in Strathmore (N), length of occupancy and the level of equity of home owners. Overall, 38.3% of households were paying high mortgage repayments, and 23.7% were paying low repayments, compared with 38.6% and 18.4% respectively in Essendon West.
