Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Oakleigh in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

- Clerical and Administrative Workers (413 females or 18.8%)

In comparison, the City of Monash employed 33.9% in Professionals; 18.6% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 13.6% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Oakleigh and the City of Monash were:
- A larger percentage of females employed as Managers (12.1% compared to 11.1%)
