Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Mount Waverley in 2016 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,858 people or 12.3%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (1,825 people or 12.1%)
  • Education and Training (1,608 people or 10.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 5,291 people in total or 35.2% of the total employed resident population.
