Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Notting Hill in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Education and Training (242 people or 15.7%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (196 people or 12.8%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (188 people or 12.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 626 people in total or 40.7% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Monash employed 9.8% in Education and Training; 13.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 11.5% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services.
