Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Notting Hill in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (112 males or 13.9%)
  • Education and Training (98 males or 12.2%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (72 males or 9.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 282 males in total or 35.1% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Monash employed 12.8% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 6.3% in Education and Training; and 6.7% in Accommodation and Food Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Notting Hill and the City of Monash were:
