Dominant groups

Analysis of the type of internet connection of households in North - East Region compared to the City of Mitcham shows that there was a lower proportion of households with either no internet connection or a dial up connection, and a higher proportion of households with broadband connectivity.

Overall 18.3% of households had no internet connection or a dial up connection, and 74.6% had broadband connectivity, compared with 20.1% and 72.7% respectively in the City of Mitcham.
