The size of Pascoe Vale's female labour force in 2016 was 4,099, of which 1,599 were employed part-time and 2,021 were full time workers.
Analysis of the female employment status (as a percentage of the labour force) in Pascoe Vale in 2016 compared to Brunswick West shows that there was a lower proportion in employment, and a higher proportion unemployed. Overall, 94.1% of the female labour force was employed, and 5.9% unemployed, compared with 95.4% and 4.6% respectively for Brunswick West.
Analysis of the labour force participation rate of the female population in Pascoe Vale in 2016 shows that there was a lower proportion in the labour force (56.8%) compared with Brunswick West (62.4%).
