The size of the City of Melville's male labour force in 2021 was 27,465, of which 6,346 were employed part-time and 18,716 were full time workers.
Analysis of the male employment status (as a percentage of the labour force) in the City of Melville in 2021 compared to The South West Group Region shows that there was a higher proportion in employment, and a lower proportion unemployed. Overall, 95.4% of the male labour force was employed, and 4.6% unemployed, compared with 94.6% and 5.4% respectively for The South West Group Region.
