Dominant groups

Analysis of household income levels for non-English speakers households in the City of Melton in 2021 compared to the total households in the City of Melton shows that there was a similar proportion of non-English speakers in high income households (those earning $3,000 per week or more) and a lower proportion of low income households (those earning less than $800 per week).

Overall, 26.2% of non-English speakers were in households who earned a high income, and 9.7% were in low income households, compared with 26.1% and 10.9% respectively for the total households in the City of Melton.
