Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Brookfield in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (541 people or 12.2%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (522 people or 11.7%)
  • Construction (507 people or 11.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,570 people in total or 35.3% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Thornhill Park employed 14.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.4% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing; and 11.8% in Construction.
