Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Diggers Rest in 2016 compared to City of Melton shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 33.0% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 12.2% were one-parent families, compared with 43.4% and 13.2% respectively for City of Melton.
