Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in City of Maroondah in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (8,787 females or 30.2%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (6,063 females or 20.9%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (4,638 females or 16.0%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 19,488 females in total or 67.0% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Greater Melbourne employed 30.4% in Professionals; 19.1% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 15.4% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
