Dominant groups

Analysis of the country of birth of people aged 0 to 4 years in the City of Maroondah in 2011 compared to Victoria shows that there was a smaller proportion of people born overseas, and a smaller proportion of people from a non-English speaking background.

Overall, 3.2% of people aged 0 to 4 years were born overseas, and 2.4% were from a non-English speaking background, compared with 3.9% and 2.6% respectively for Victoria.
