Dominant groups

In 2016, there were 6,756 people who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in City of Manningham, compared with 36,657 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).

Analysis of the method of travel to work of the residents in the City of Manningham in 2016, compared to Greater Melbourne, shows that 12.8% used public transport, while 69.4% used a private vehicle, compared with 15.4% and 65.0% respectively in Greater Melbourne.
