Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Heide Ward in 2016 compared to City of Manningham shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a similar proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 40.8% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 9.3% were one-parent families, compared with 39.6% and 9.5% respectively for City of Manningham.

There were a similar proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children.
