An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Forestdale in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (284 people or 21.0%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (233 people or 17.2%)
- Managers (227 people or 16.8%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 744 people in total or 54.9% of the employed resident population.
In comparison, Tanah Merah employed 17.1% in Professionals; 14.4% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 11.0% in Managers.
