Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Jimboomba in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (343 females or 20.2%)
  • Education and Training (229 females or 13.5%)
  • Retail Trade (209 females or 12.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 781 females in total or 45.9% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Edens Landing - Holmview employed 24.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.9% in Education and Training; and 14.6% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Jimboomba and Edens Landing - Holmview were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in education and training (13.5% compared to 10.9%)
