Overall, 26.1% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 9.0% were one-parent families, compared with 25.2% and 10.8% respectively for Regional QLD.
There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 20.1% compared to 23.4% in Regional QLD while the proportion of couples without children was 30.3% compared to 27.3% in Regional QLD.
