Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Green Valley in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (791 people or 16.8%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (755 people or 16.0%)
- Machinery Operators And Drivers (646 people or 13.7%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,192 people in total or 46.4% of the employed resident population.
In comparison, Liverpool LGA employed 20.6% in Professionals; 15.7% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 10.5% in Machinery Operators And Drivers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Green Valley and Liverpool LGA were:
- A larger percentage of persons employed as Labourers (12.5% compared to 9.0%)
