Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Liverpool LGA in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (18,519 people or 20.6%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (14,143 people or 15.7%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (10,872 people or 12.1%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 43,534 people in total or 48.4% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, Cartwright employed 9.2% in Professionals; 11.6% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 15.9% in Technicians and Trades Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Liverpool LGA and Cartwright were:
