Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Sadleir in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (106 people or 14.8%)
  • Retail Trade (89 people or 12.4%)
  • Manufacturing (82 people or 11.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 277 people in total or 38.7% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Liverpool LGA employed 13.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.9% in Retail Trade; and 8.2% in Manufacturing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Sadleir and Liverpool LGA were:
