Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Liverpool LGA in 2021 compared to Wattle Grove shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 44.2% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 14.2% were one-parent families, compared with 51.7% and 12.3% respectively for Wattle Grove.

There were a higher proportion of lone person households and a lower proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 16.3% compared to 12.2% in Wattle Grove while the proportion of couples without children was 17.0% compared to 20.3% in Wattle Grove.
