Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in East Lismore in 2021 compared to Goonellabah shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 19.9% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 15.0% were one-parent families, compared with 23.6% and 13.7% respectively for Goonellabah.
