Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Kyogle Council Area in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (617 people or 17.6%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (571 people or 16.3%)
  • Education and Training (328 people or 9.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,516 people in total or 43.2% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Northern Rivers Region employed 4.7% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 17.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 9.5% in Education and Training.
