Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Scoresby in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Technicians and Trades Workers (356 males or 21.5%)
- Professionals (345 males or 20.9%)
- Managers (244 males or 14.8%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 945 males in total or 57.2% of the employed male resident population.
In comparison, the City of Knox employed 23.5% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 20.8% in Professionals; and 15.9% in Managers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Scoresby and the City of Knox were:
- A larger percentage of males employed as Labourers (11.1% compared to 9.7%)
- A larger percentage of males employed as Clerical and Administrative Workers (8.5% compared to 7.3%)
