Dominant groups

Analysis of household income levels for non-English speakers households in the City of Knox in 2021 compared to the total households in the City of Knox shows that there was a similar proportion of non-English speakers in high income households (those earning $3,000 per week or more) as well as a similar proportion of low income households (those earning less than $800 per week).

Overall, 31.7% of non-English speakers were in households who earned a high income, and 11.4% were in low income households, compared with 31.9% and 11.6% respectively for the total households in the City of Knox.

There were no major differences between City of Knox and the total population in the City of Knox in 2021.
