Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in South East Ward in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Education and Training (620 females or 19.1%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (607 females or 18.7%)
  • Retail Trade (313 females or 9.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,540 females in total or 47.4% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Kalamunda employed 14.5% in Education and Training; 20.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 10.9% in Retail Trade.
