Analysis of the car ownership of the households in South East Ward in 2021 compared to the City of Kalamunda shows that 95.2% of the households owned at least one car, while 2.5% did not, compared with 93.6% and 2.8% respectively in the City of Kalamunda.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a smaller proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a larger proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 19.3% of the households owned one car; 38.5% owned two cars; and 37.3% owned three cars or more, compared with 27.0%; 39.3% and 27.3% respectively for the City of Kalamunda.
