Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Sorrento in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (1,168 people or 30.0%)
  • Managers (711 people or 18.2%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (502 people or 12.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,381 people in total or 61.1% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Joondalup employed 25.3% in Professionals; 13.6% in Managers; and 13.9% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
