Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in South Ward in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,814 people or 13.4%)
  • Education and Training (1,650 people or 12.2%)
  • Construction (1,454 people or 10.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 4,918 people in total or 36.3% of the total employed resident population.
