Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Warwick in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (277 people or 14.4%)
  • Construction (218 people or 11.3%)
  • Education and Training (217 people or 11.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 712 people in total or 37.0% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Joondalup employed 13.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.5% in Construction; and 11.0% in Education and Training.

The major difference between the jobs held by the population of Warwick and the City of Joondalup was:

  • A larger percentage of persons employed in transport, postal and warehousing (4.3% compared to 2.9%)
