Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Heathridge in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (519 people or 14.6%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (468 people or 13.1%)
  • Education and Training (340 people or 9.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,327 people in total or 37.2% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Sorrento employed 9.4% in Construction; 12.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 11.5% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Heathridge and Sorrento were:
