Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Hillarys in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (630 females or 22.2%)
  • Education and Training (500 females or 17.6%)
  • Retail Trade (266 females or 9.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,396 females in total or 49.2% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Joondalup employed 22.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 17.1% in Education and Training; and 10.1% in Retail Trade.

There were no major differences between Hillarys and City of Joondalup in 2021.
