Dominant groups

Analysis of the country of birth of the non-English speaking population in the Inner West Council in 2021 compared to the total population in the Inner West Council shows that there was a larger proportion of people born overseas.

Overall, 69.8% of the non-English speaking population was born overseas, compared with 33.3% for the total population in the Inner West Council.

The major differences between the countries of birth of the non-English speaking population in Inner West Council area and the total population in the Inner West Council were:
