Dominant groups
Analysis of the non-English speaking population in the Inner West Council in 2021 compared to the total population in the Inner West Council shows that there was a lower proportion of people in the younger age groups (under 15) and a higher proportion of people in the older age groups (65+).
Overall, 10.8% of the non-English speaking population was aged between 0 and 14, and 21.1% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 14.6% and 14.1% respectively for the total population in the Inner West Council.
