Dominant groups

Analysis of individual income levels in Craigieburn in 2021 compared to Hume City shows that there was a lower proportion of people earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) as well as a lower proportion of low income people (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 6.2% of the population earned a high income, and 37.6% earned a low income, compared with 6.8% and 38.9% respectively for Hume City.

The major differences between Craigieburn's individual incomes and Hume City's individual incomes were:
