Analysis of the qualifications of the population in NSROC Region in 2021 compared to Ku-ring-gai Council area shows that there was a lower proportion of people holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), as well as a lower proportion of people with no formal qualifications.
Overall, 69.5% of the population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 24.4% had no qualifications, compared with 70.1% and 25.0% respectively for Ku-ring-gai Council area.
The major differences between qualifications held by the population of NSROC Region and Ku-ring-gai Council area were:
- A larger percentage of persons with Vocational qualifications (9.4% compared to 7.1%)
- A smaller percentage of persons with Bachelor or Higher degrees (50.6% compared to 53.7%)
