Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Asquith in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (444 females or 27.5%)
  • Education and Training (233 females or 14.5%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (162 females or 10.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 839 females in total or 52.0% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Willoughby City employed 17.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.6% in Education and Training; and 16.3% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Asquith and Willoughby City were:
