Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Asquith in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (596 people or 18.3%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (432 people or 13.3%)
  • Education and Training (312 people or 9.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,340 people in total or 41.1% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, North Sydney Council area employed 11.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 21.5% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 7.6% in Education and Training.
