Analysis of the household/family types in NSROC Region in 2021 compared to Mount Colah - Mount Kuring-gai shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 35.6% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 8.2% were one-parent families, compared with 46.6% and 9.4% respectively for Mount Colah - Mount Kuring-gai.
There were a higher proportion of lone person households and a similar proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 23.8% compared to 14.8% in Mount Colah - Mount Kuring-gai while the proportion of couples without children was 25.4% compared to 25.0% in Mount Colah - Mount Kuring-gai.
