Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Normanhurst in 2021 compared to Hornsby Shire shows that 92.2% of the households owned at least one car, while 5.4% did not, compared with 90.7% and 6.6% respectively in Hornsby Shire.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a similar proportion who owned just one car; a larger proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 37.3% of the households owned one car; 39.6% owned two cars; and 15.4% owned three cars or more, compared with 37.6%; 36.2% and 17.0% respectively for Hornsby Shire.
