Dominant groups

Analysis of female individual income levels in Altona North in 2021 compared to Hobsons Bay City shows that there was a lower proportion of females earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a higher proportion of low income females (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 8.2% of the female population earned a high income, and 41.4% earned a low income, compared with 12.1% and 35.8% respectively for Hobsons Bay City.
