Dominant groups
In 2021, there were 2,421 males who caught public transport to work (train, bus, tram or ferry) in City of Glen Eira, compared with 17,262 who drove in private vehicles (car – as driver, car – as passenger, motorbike, or truck).
Analysis of the method of travel to work of the male residents in the City of Glen Eira in 2021, compared to Murrumbeena, shows that 6.0% used public transport, while 42.1% used a private vehicle, compared with 7.2% and 41.8% respectively in Murrumbeena.
The major difference in males between the method of travel to work of the City of Glen Eira and Murrumbeena was:
