Dominant groups

Analysis of the qualifications of the male population in the City of Glen Eira in 2021 compared to Greater Melbourne shows that there was a higher proportion of males holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a lower proportion of males with no formal qualifications.

Overall, 66.2% of the male population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 27.8% had no qualifications, compared with 58.4% and 34.5% respectively for Greater Melbourne.

The major differences between qualifications held by the male population of the City of Glen Eira and Greater Melbourne were:
