Dominant groups

Analysis of individual income levels in Penshurst in 2021 compared to Georges River Council area shows that there was a lower proportion of people earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) as well as a lower proportion of low income people (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 11.2% of the population earned a high income, and 31.8% earned a low income, compared with 12.5% and 33.1% respectively for Georges River Council area.

The major differences between Penshurst's individual incomes and Georges River Council area's individual incomes were:
