Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Leopold in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (749 males or 23.2%)
  • Retail Trade (320 males or 9.9%)
  • Manufacturing (278 males or 8.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,347 males in total or 41.8% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Greater Geelong employed 19.8% in Construction; 8.9% in Retail Trade; and 8.8% in Manufacturing.
