Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Ocean Grove in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (913 males or 22.3%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (349 males or 8.5%)
  • Education and Training (323 males or 7.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,585 males in total or 38.7% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Clifton Springs employed 22.8% in Construction; 5.1% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 5.3% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Ocean Grove and Clifton Springs were:
