Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Sandhurst in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (268 females or 19.8%)
  • Education and Training (163 females or 12.0%)
  • Retail Trade (158 females or 11.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 589 females in total or 43.5% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Frankston City employed 25.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.2% in Education and Training; and 12.4% in Retail Trade.
