Dominant groups

Analysis of male individual income levels in Frankston City in 2021 compared to Greater Melbourne shows that there was a lower proportion of males earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a similar proportion of low income males (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 14.0% of the male population earned a high income, and 26.0% earned a low income, compared with 18.4% and 26.5% respectively for Greater Melbourne.

The major differences between Frankston City's male individual incomes and Greater Melbourne's male individual incomes were:

  • A larger percentage of males who earned $1,000 - $1,249 (10.8% compared to 9.7%)
